To enjoy a moment of calm during a break in your day, come and take refuge in the Simone Veil library and drawing room. From this space, which looks like a secret room, emanates a gentle solemnity where letting go is a must. First, there is the delicate subdued light and soft tones of the room that create a sense of calm and invite you into a timeless experience.
The modern and clear design gives it the appearance of a cosy cocoon, making it easy to make the space your own. Finally, the selection of books available to visitors gives it a cultural dimension that can be experienced alone
or in groups.
An exceptional space to honour an exceptional figure. This space has been dedicated to Simone Veil because she embodies commitment to her fellow human beings and to Europe. In fact, it was she who inaugurated CIARUS in 1986 as a Member of the European Parliament. Her whole life was a lesson in humanity and commitment. It is therefore only natural that CIARUS should pay tribute to her through this space, which is open to all, as an invitation to share and live together.
