To enjoy a moment of tranquillity during a suspended interlude, find refuge in the Simone Veil Library and Drawing Room. This space, reminiscent of a secret getaway, exudes a gentle solemnity where letting go is essential.
The soft, subdued lighting and gentle tones of the room evoke calmness and invite an experience beyond time. The modern, clear design gives this space a cocoon-like feel, making it easy to embrace. Additionally, the selection of books available to visitors adds a cultural dimension to the space, whether experienced alone or in a group.
An exceptional space for an exceptional figure. This area is dedicated to Simone Veil because she embodies commitment to her fellow human beings and to Europe. She inaugurated CIARUS in 1986 as a Member of the European Parliament. Her entire life has been a lesson in humanity and commitment. Thus, it is only natural that CIARUS honours her through this space, open to all, as an invitation to sharing and living together.
